Psychotherapy Services

 

Individual Therapy

APA Defines Individual Therapy as, "Treatment of psychological problems that is conducted on a one-to-one basis. One therapist sees one client at a time, tailoring the process to his or her unique needs in the exploration of contributory factors and alleviation of symptoms. Also called dyadic therapy; individual psychotherapy.

NOTE: As of January 1, 2025 - I have no availability for new individual therapy referrals. I will not be accepting a waitlist at this time. My practice is for the State of Wisconsin ONLY.

 
 

Relational Therapy

APA Defines Relational Therapy as, “any form of psychotherapy focused on improving the relationship between individuals by helping them resolve interpersonal issues and modify maladaptive patterns of interactions, thereby fostering the healthy psychosocial growth of all parties. It is an umbrella term encompassing couples therapy and family therapyAlso called relationship, familial psychotherapy or couples psychotherapy. My personal practice recognizes all forms of relationships including but not limited to mono or poly relationships, LGTBQIA+ relationships, kink-or alternative lifestyle friendly, and friendships/chosen family!

Group Therapy

APA Defines Group Therapy as, "Treatment of psychological problems in which two or more participants interact with each other on both an emotional and a cognitive level in the presence of one or more psychotherapists who serve as catalysts, facilitators, or interpreters." Also called group psychotherapy. Past Groups I have held: ADHD Support Group, LAUNCH Group, Perfectionism Support Group.

    NOTE: At this time, I treat 18+. My expertise is working with 14-30 year olds. At this time, I do have a long waitlist for teenagers and their families. I cannot offer this service at this time due to the length of that waitlist IfI feel I cannot get someone in within 90 days, following quality of care statutes within State of Wisconsin; I do not offer those services.
